Kathryn Pecora: Executive Director
Kathryn Pecora is a seasoned community development professional with 14 years of experience leading public infrastructure, neighborhood revitalization, and food access initiatives. During her tenure at Will County, she managed over $10 million in federally and locally funded projects and successfully secured more than $2 million in additional grant funding. Kathryn brings a strategic, results-driven approach to every project, combining deep expertise in community planning with a passion for creating equitable, sustainable outcomes. She is committed to empowering communities, strengthening partnerships, and turning bold ideas into lasting impact.
Kate Gray: Communications Director & Community Engagement Manager
Kate Gray is a dedicated nonprofit and grant writing professional with a strong background in communications and paralegal work, bringing a unique blend of analytical expertise and strategic storytelling to every project. Driven by determination, compassion, and a deep desire to create lasting, positive change, she partners with mission-driven organizations to secure funding, refine strategies, and amplify their impact. Through Kindheart Consulting Group, Kate helps transform bold ideas into real-world solutions that strengthen communities and promote sustainable, equitable outcomes.
Joe Pecora: Director of Finance and Accounting Services
Joe brings extensive experience in real estate accounting, property management, and property development to Kindheart Consulting Group. He oversees invoicing, financial management, IRS form processing, and related financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the organization.
